STUDIOS Our A and B studios both consist of a control room and several individual recording booths. The whole complex is structurally 100% floating with all booths floating separately from the control room to maximise isolation. This is part of Astia-studio's uncompromising approach to sound. The main recording room is built according to LEDE-principle (Live End ‚ Dead End) with windows for daylight, creating a nice ambience, day and night. Both studios have Macintosh computer with Motu's DigitalPerfomer 6. Both studios are also equipped with NS10's and Mackie HR824mkII speakers. STUDIO-A Everything is recorded with TL Audio´s VTC valve console with lots of cool outboard gear and for mixing we use a Mackie Digital X Bus 200. Studio-A is operated by Anssi Kippo, Astia's founder who has been the producer & engineer for various finnish platinum selling metal and rock albums. Click here for the equipment list. STUDIO-B Finally we have opened our studio B under Astia name. The perfect place for recording sessions with low cost. Neve recordin desk with lots of outboard gear. Designed for maximum emotion. Accomodations The Astia-studio complex offers newly renovated accomodation for clients as they set a new standard for a creative atmosphere which cannot be found anywhere else in Finland. The Cottage Over 100 year old wooden walls, air-conditioning, heated floor and unique design will give you a comfortable place to rest after a long studio day. Separate bedroom, living room (46"HD tv with satellite, PS3 etc), kitchen, lounge and Downstairs All-in-one, a more humble accommodation with 6 beds, small kitchen, 2 toilets, sauna and shower. |
